With its unique friction-eliminating construction and moisture-repellent inner layers, the 1000 Mile Ultimate Lightweight anti-blister walking socks are ideal for walkers used to facing the whole spectrum of weather conditions.

The socks incorporate two layers that eliminate friction between the shoe and sock and helps to prevent blisters and also reduces wear.

The outer layer of 60% wool and 40% nylon moves with the shoe, while the inner layer of 100% Tactel stays with the foot and wicks moisture away.

It’s a unique fibre combination that keeps the foot fresh, dry and at a comfortable temperature, whatever the weather.

Comfortable

Great socks. No more rubbing on my boots. A bit pricey but would recommend if your feet are suffering.

Great hiking socks

So far I've worn these on a 15 mile and a 6 mile walk in warm / hot weather. The socks work very well at wicking moisture away from skin they also dry very quickly when you take boots off for a rest break. No sign of wear so far so that's a good sign.

Just completed a 26 mile Macmillan charity walk wearing 1000 mile socks with no blisters.Aching feet but no socks can prevent that!

Nice socks for summer walking

I normally walk more in winter/spring but I used these for a two day summer walking event. Quite a warm daytime (27C) but feet were ok at the end of each day with no blisters and they never got too hot. Socks were plenty long enough for the walking boots that I was wearing.
I would buy again if I do more summer walking like this.
