Description

The DD Underblanket is an excellent addition to your DD hammock, adding extra warmth and protection from wind chill.

The Underblanket fits onto the bottom of your hammock and is attached with eight karabiners, four toggles and an elastic cord. A drawcord cinches the ends.

Fitting like a glove the Underquilt also traps a layer of warm air between it and the bottom of the blanket providing extra insulation.

The ripstop nylon protects from substantial rips and the 200gsm synthetic silk fill will keep you warm and cosy in winter temperatures.

For extra warmth and protection from the wind, you will only carry an extra 950g in the shape of a neat stuff sack.

Great product

Fast delivery, great product better than expected have used the tarp , very easy to put up. I used my hammock as a bivvy so the under blanket i popped over the top of my sleeping bag! I hadn’t slept totally outside before out of a tent And I was roasting I totally rate this company and have just purchased a hammock from them so will try the under blanket and hammock properly this weekend. Very pleased with this, it worked well. Make sure you pull the four elastic toggles at the ends and sides tight but don't over tighten the elastics that clip the quilt to the hammock, I did and the quilt wasn't very effective, i then loosened them so it wasn't pulled so tightly against the hammock and it performed much better. I have an ENO hammock and if fit just fine, I just clipped the extra attachment cords to the end ones.

Great product. Used Good Friday, first time hammock camping albeit in my back garden.
Kept everything warm apart from my head, must remember a woolly hat next time. Great service from Military Kit with free, speedy delivery. Used these guys a few weeks back (DD tarp), and again service was superb.

DD under blanket well worth it

So I've ditched the sleeping pad and invested in the underblanket. Last night, swinging away in 30 mph winds and temp down to 1degree I had the bestest of sleeps since getting into hammocks
