An excellent mid/top layer. Fit is excellent with ability to wear next to skin or with a base layer for extra warmth. Pocket layout is perfect for hands and chest pocket is in the right place for easy access but not to high to be in the road of bino carry. Hood is perfect with good adjusting ability. Certainly an item to have on your kit list.

Excellent piece of kit have been wearing for a couple of weeks and it's lovely and warm, working night shifts and only have one layer underneath it. Not tried it in the rain yet though. Would recommend though.

This was a christmas present for my husband, as he works outside in all weathers, so not really able to review the quality as yet. However, the order process was easy. I did have to return my first order and order the next size up to what my husband 's usual size is, but only because he had room to wear a jumper underneath during the colder seasons. I received my refund in a timely manor, so no complaints from me. I would definitely recommend this company and I would also order from them again in the future.

Having owned and worn a Buffalo Special 6 for some time, I’ve been looking for a similar smock-style jacket with a lighter fleece lining. I bought an ex-military one which was ok, but the olive colour marked and stained very easily, so I looked for a similar style in black. A search turned up the Highlander Halo, which looked like what I wanted.
It’s exactly what I wanted, it’s a superb jacket, just the right weight and the fleece is perfect for most conditions, and it’s very comfortable. I went a size up, from XL to XXL, for a bit more room to wear an extra thin fleece as a mid-layer, and it couldn’t be better. And it’s extremely good value as well. I honestly couldn’t be happier with it.

I like this product, it is light waight and warm and a great fit.

Good for all weathers, also looks smart.

Bought it for work. Do a lot of driving and working in shopfitting. Very light, compact and warm. Plus been getting lots of compliments on the way it looks. Just need to be careful smoking with it on as hot ash WILL melt holes.

Nice bit of kit, light weight with a warm fleece liner. Outer seems durable, windproof and water resistant. Great for outdoor activities in autumn and early winter…

I’ve not had it long but it looks like a well made good quality piece of kit. Time will tell if it stands up to the task but so far I’m really happy with it
