Standard issue for the US Air Force since the mid-1950s, the US Army MA1 Flight Jacket was built to withstand harsh conditions and has become a modern top-selling classic.
This faithful reproduction is an extremely versatile, mid-weight bomber jacket that is made from tough nylon and is water-repellent.
This style was the first of the military jackets to make the crossover into civilian fashion and is stylish as well as hard-wearing.
There are two slanted front pockets with flap and press-stud closure as well as 2 inner pockets and a handy utility/pen pocket on the sleeve.
With a strong main brass zip, knitted cuffs, waistband and collar, this flight jacket has a comfortable snug fit that helps to keep the rain and wind out.
The jacket is reversible to bright orange, so it’s ideal when in situations of limited visibility or for rescue missions.
