With a water repellent paratex outer and exclusive Softie® insulation, the Snugpak Arrowhead jacket from Snugpak is windproof, lightweight, warm and breathable. Designed for comfort and efficiency this jacket will provide warmth in temperatures as low as -5°C.

Featuring an insulated detachable hood, a chin guard and deep hand pockets lined with brushed polyester, this jacket can be worn as a mid-layer or outer layer.

Snugpak Arrowhead Jacket - Black - Medium

I'm very pleased with my Arrowhead in black, it feels very comfortable and well made.
I got a medium size which seems to be just about right for my 40" chest plus a base and jumper or thin fleece.
Although I've not used it in particularly cold weather yet it promises to be a versitile and warm winter jacket.
I can layer under it if I need to, and over it with a waterproof (a Highlander Tempest).
It packs down well and should be easy to take care of unlike some down jackets, so it will be with me on my travels.
Black will blend well in urban settings as it dosen't shout military. It's a subtle bit of kit.
I appreciate the deep handwarmer pockets, plus the arm and interior one. All very useful.
The removeable hood is a nice bonus too.
As usual, Military Kit were speedy with their processing and delivery.. And at a very good price too.

Great Jacket!

I just came off a 2 week exercise with the army and I lived in this jacket to cut about in on camp and in the field! It’s so cosy, nice and warm too. Highly recommend!

Popped into the shop to make sure I got the right size, and glad I did. Tried the large but it felt tight across my shoulders ( I'm 6ft & 15 stone), so got an XL. It is a bit big, but that doesn't bother me. It's light in weight, and is my go to now when the temperature drops - definitely money well spent.
Would also add that the staff were very helpful and friendly, with nothing being a mither for them.

I have bought snugpack jackets before.
This new design didn't disapoint. Better insulated hood though could be larger. Plenty of pockets. Good warm pockets for hands. Best of all it keeps you warm and is breathable no boiling up. Big success.
