Description

Designed for warmth on cold autumn nights, the Snugpak Sleeper Extreme sleeping bag is one of the new Basecamp Ops range and is able to protect you in temperatures down to -12°C.

This durable synthetic sleeping bag is a best seller offering a great balance of performance and technical fabrics whilst remaining affordable.

The Sleeper Extreme is filled with long-lasting Isofibre siliconised hollowfibre, which is specifically manufactured to trap warm air for improved heat retention even when wet and the bag is also easy to dry out and is washable.

The bag can be packed down into a compact size for carrying and then automatically springs back out easily when unpacked, for maximum re-loft.

The outer of the sleeping bag is made from Aqualight, durable water-repellent polyester and the lining is silky smooth Supersoft fabric, which helps to wick moisture away from your body to reduce perspiration and improve comfort.

The Snugpak Sleeper Extreme sleeping bag is designed in the popular mummy-style shape for enhanced warmth and features a warm hood that can go over your head to help keep chills out.

It packs into a convenient 30cm x 26cm pack and weighs in at 2100g, making it ideal for camping or expeditions when weight and space are not at a premium but plenty of warmth and comfort is needed.

Field tested in conjunction with BCB folding sleep mat, Snugpak Arctic Blanket ( inside the sleeping bag), British Army bivvy bag under tarp shelter. This combination worked excellently in North Yorkshire on the first weekend in March with temperatures almost hitting zero. I had some trouble zipping it all the way up around the head, the zip kept sticking. I am sure that the zip will loosen up. Moot point though as I left it unzipped to just below the shoulder for a bit of ventilation. I struggle with the cold so I am sure this bag is good for the claimed rating.
I definitely recommend this sleeping bag.

Perfect for Army cadets

I bought this for my son for his army cadet exercises. He says it’s amazing, kept him dry in light drizzle and was very warm. Easy to pack away too. Would highly recommend.

I've tried this sleeping bag at home 2 or 3 times and it's fantastic plenty of length I'm 6ft tall ant I can't touch the bottom, it feels very cosy and warm can't wait to try it out camping when it gets cold.

Great Quality

Looks and feels Like a quality sleeping bag. I haven't tested it yet but I don't doubt this will keep me warm. A bit heavier than pricier bags but for 50 quid we'll worth the extra weight.
