Description

The Snugpak Softie Elite 3 sleeping bag is a mummy-shaped bag that can keep you warm in temperatures down to -10°C, with its unique EPS (Expander Panel System) giving the flexibility to control temperatures inside the bag.

While at first glance it may appear similar to a traditional sleeping bag, the Elite 3 sleeping bag employs the expander panel that can be unzipped to provide more space inside the bag.

This allows air to circulate inside the bag which helps reduce the temperature when you are in warmer temperatures.

When the temperatures drop again, simply zip up the panel and the bag instantly becomes a warmer environment to sleep in.

This system allows you to use the Softie Elite 3 in more diverse conditions as you can relax in the bag during the day and evenings without becoming too hot and then zip up for the cold wintry night.

The Paratex Micro outer fabric is windproof and water repellent and the inner Paratex Light & Reflectatherm adds heat-retaining properties and breathability to wick moisture away from the inside of the bag to keep you comfortable overnight.

The unique Sofite® insulation retains heat even when wet and is washable.

The bag is a mummy-style bag that is tapered at the feet. This restricts airflow around your feet which helps to keep the inside of the bag warmer during the night.

Supplied with a compression stuff sack to allow easy transport the Elite 3 is a quality bag that is ideal for military, camping, bushcraft and outdoor enthusiasts.

Bought this bag for spring to autumn outdoor sleeping inside a bivvy bag, I,m 6ft 3 and it is big enough to fit me properly, I use it unzipped like a duvet if warm and zip it up if I feel cold. Well made, good value bag in my opinion, would definitely recommend.

This Elite 3 sleeping bag is great, with a good ratio of size and weight to warmth. The addition of the expandable baffle to make the bag a little roomier is a brilliant feature. Excellent service and very competitive price from Military Kit.

Mega bag!

Recently had this out on a wildcamp where it dropped to zero over night. Bag kept really warm and comfy. Slept superb. I'm 6'2 and had loads of room. Packs small and is light for a 3 season bag. Plus super quick delivery from these guys. Will definitely order from again.

Not what I expected, this bag is half the size of the issued bag, doesn't smell and comes with a proper compression bag. The amount of tech. in this bag looks amazing, can't wait to try it out. Ordered it late Friday received it Wednesday (today). Excellent service, lovely bag really happy with everything.

Brilliant bag

Being on the water (in a boat) in deepest autumn in the UK was freezing but the bag dealt with this remarkably well. I became warm immediately entering the bag; and the baffles and hood tie worked very well to insulate and keep the cold out. Excellent price, too, compared to these 'better known' premium priced branded bags.

Warm and spacious

Bought for some wild camping to use with a British military bivvy bag. Chosen mainly as I'm big and it's a bit wider and longer than some bags. Very pleased, warm, easy to stuff back into bag and seems well made. Used down to about 5 degrees, no mat, wearing a tight fitting light top. Much colder and I'd add a mat. Delivery fine.
