Description

The Heritage Vintage Jacket from Surplus has a fashionable military look and plenty of practical features that make it a versatile layer for warm spring and autumn days or to cover up on cooler summer evenings.

It’s made from a washed 100% cotton fabric for a heritage used look and has distinctive military-inspired badges sewn on the chest and arm. Buttoned epaulettes on the shoulders complete the rugged army look.

A metal full-length zip runs up the front, allowing you to wear it as open as you choose, and it has a neat buttoned flap cover.

There’s a choice of useful pockets for storing small items like your phone, loose change, or your keys. The two chest pockets have button down flaps to keep items secure, and there are hand pockets on each side.

This coat has a flattering, tailored fit that’s ideal for leisure pursuits from hitting the town to heading into the countryside.

Vintage jacket

I bought this for my partner, and he has now used it a few times. It is a good jacket for wind and cold as it has quite a dense weave. Whilst it is a light use jacket it is quite heavy, but this is not noticed when being worn. The dense weave would keep very light showers off, as long as it didn't soak in, the surface would dry - but not anything heavy as it is not waterproof. My partner says the arms come up quite long, but on the whole he likes it. It is a good quality jacket that is fine probably for warmer winter days and cool summer ones. Would be ok in light drizzle, but not rain. All in all would recommend.
