Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) was introduced by the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, soon to become their standard military combat uniform and saw service in the Gulf wars and Afghanistan.

Although replaced by the military over the last 40 years, BDUs are still used by some units around the world for their beneficial design and features.
